Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to drive reliability, resilience, and continuous improvement of mission-critical network infrastructure globally. You will be a senior SME, handling incident escalation and guiding a high-performing team across multiple technology domains.

You will mentor engineers, manage incidents end-to-end, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure network solutions with visibility at senior levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise network services, infrastructure domains, and service interdependencies in a large-scale global environment.
• Hands-on experience across routing, switching, data center networking, security, load balancing, and related technologies.
• Experience supporting mission-critical production networks including incident and problem management, change execution, monitoring, and capacity management.
• Experience with enterprise network platforms such as Cisco ASA/ASR/Nexus, VXLAN, ACI, Arista Fabric, Fortinet, Check Point, F5 LTM/GTM/ASM.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day incident and problem management for major network issues across the global environment.
• Serve as a senior SME across two+ core network domains, providing advanced troubleshooting and guidance.
• Coordinate with engineering and platform teams on fixes, design changes, and upgrades during incidents.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders on operational issues, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
• Coach and mentor junior engineers to build capability and discipline across the team.
• Contribute to team leadership including workload planning and service-improvement initiatives.
• Plan and manage infrastructure utilization to optimize delivery, resilience, and cost.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles for team use.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and meet shared goals.
• Communicate complex technical findings clearly to management and partners.
