Job summary

JTL is a leading provider of e‑commerce software in the German-speaking region with around 450 employees. This remote-first role is based in Germany and offers the chance to contribute to a scalable network architecture from home.

You will configure switches, VPNs, DNS, and Wi‑Fi across multiple sites; coordinate Equinix colocation; and collaborate with cross‑functional teams while communicating with non‑technical stakeholders. German language proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience configuring and managing network infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Expertise in IPsec and OpenVPN tunnels.
• Experience with DNS management and Wi‑Fi operations in multi-site environments.
• Familiarity with colocation operations (Equinix or similar).
• Strong independent work style and clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Good German language skills (B2 or higher).

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage switches, firmware upgrades, and VPN tunnels.
• Maintain Wi‑Fi infrastructure across company sites.
• Monitor and coordinate Equinix colocation environment and liaise with provider.
• Maintain DNS zones and own network design and architecture.
• Handle VPN helpdesk tasks and support network troubleshooting.
• Interface with ITA team for cross‑functional network topics.
• Plan and implement routing between Azure and our DDU data center.
