Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services LLC seeks an experienced Escalated Networking Engineer to own the most complex cases in global broadband networking. You will resolve eBGP peering failures, routing anomalies, and SD-WAN issues across partner networks and customer edges.

You will mentor junior engineers and develop playbooks for rapid resolution. The role demands deep expertise in internet routing, strong diagnostics, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to maintain high availability

Qualifications

Experience in technical support and customer escalations.
5+ years in ISP network operations, network engineering, or similar.
CCNP or JNCIP or equivalent ISP routing experience.
Deep ISP operational knowledge: eBGP, transit/peering, route leaks, and internet edge faults.
Experience with SD-WAN platforms and SDN controllers.
Proficiency in TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S and troubleshooting tools.

Responsibilities

Lead resolution of complex customer cases involving routing anomalies and connectivity failures.
Provide in-depth technical guidance during high-severity incidents.
Perform root cause analysis for customer-impacting events and drive long-term fixes.
Act as SME for escalated networking issues including eBGP, DNS, and path problems.
Troubleshoot SD-WAN/SDN connectivity across ISP backbone and customer edge networks.
Develop troubleshooting playbooks and knowledge base to improve onboarding.
