Job summary

Cboe Global Markets is seeking a Sr. Manager of Network Engineering to lead a high-performing team that designs, builds, and operates the global low-latency trading network.

You will own architecture decisions, drive strategic initiatives, and partner with senior engineers to raise the technical bar while maintaining strict operational discipline. The role requires 10+ years in network engineering with leadership experience, deep expertise in BGP/OSPF/MPLS, and hands-on automation with Python.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive network engineering experience in low-latency, mission-critical environments.
• Leadership or management experience (3+ years).
• Deep expertise in low-latency network design and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3 protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, PIM-SM.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing network engineering team across multiple regions.
• Drive strategic network initiatives from concept through deployment with rigorous execution.
• Own architecture and long-term evolution of low-latency trading network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Principal Engineers to raise technical standards across the org.
• Manage a dynamic project portfolio and reprioritize work as needed.
• Partner with security, cloud, and application teams for integrated connectivity.
• Establish and enforce operational practices including change management and incident response.
• Contribute to network automation strategy using Python and API-driven tools.
