Job summary

CGS Federal seeks a Senior Lead Network Engineer II to lead and optimize large-scale wired and wireless networks within the NPS environment. You will design, implement, and test infrastructure, collaborate with stakeholders, and oversee security patches and updates from 0800 to 1700 PST, Monday–Friday.

Key qualifications include CWNA/BCNE, RF survey tool experience, and strong documentation skills. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• CWNA Certification or equivalent.
• BCNE Certification or equivalent.
• Experience with RF site survey tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage NPS network infrastructure.
• Improve infrastructure monitoring and reporting capabilities with network management software.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation (diagrams, Jira, Wiki).
• Define testing procedures for new infrastructure projects and assess performance.
• Provide design guidance on network solutions for NPS projects.
• Training and knowledge transfer to NPS resources on best practices.
