CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior Lead Network Engineer to evaluate and enhance a large-scale wired and wireless network. You will design, implement, and test a cohesive infrastructure across NPS environments while coordinating with state/local personnel and vendors.

The role requires RF expertise, strong documentation, and experience with cyber security and network testing. Office in Maryland with standard business hours and ongoing professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• Strong documentation skills, Jira, Wiki, and diagram updates.
• Experience with RF site surveys and network performance testing.
• Certifications CWNA and BCNE or equivalent credentials.
• Proven ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage NPS network infrastructure.
• Develop monitoring, reporting, and documentation for the network.
• Assess and improve infrastructure; define testing procedures.
• Provide network design guidance and training to staff.
