Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks a Senior Lead Network Engineer to join a team responsible for evaluating, enhancing, and maintaining a large-scale wired and wireless network infrastructure for government projects.

The role involves designing and implementing network solutions, coordinating with state and local personnel and vendors, performing testing, vulnerability assessments, and ensuring quality assurance across the environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, strong documentation skills.
• CWNA/BCNE or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Experience with RF site surveys and packet capture tools.
• Strong knowledge of VLANs, OSPF, VRRP, 802.1x, RADIUS, and network security.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and maintain the NPS network infrastructure across wired and wireless domains.
• Design, implement, and test new network infrastructure solutions.
• Lead testing procedures, vulnerability assessments, and QA for projects.
• Provide guidance and training to NPS resources on best practices.
