Job summary

The role requires engagement with internal/external customers, architecture planning, and mentoring of junior engineers, with on-site work at the customer location near Tyson Corner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or engineering/related field, or 14+ years of related experience.
• 10+ years of Network Engineering experience.
• 8+ years configuring Cisco ASA/Next Generation Firewall.
• 7+ years configuring, designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN devices with routing concepts.
• 10+ years deploying Cisco, Palo Alto, or Juniper firewall Manager servers.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and upgrade the overall security posture of the networks.
• Perform security audits of events, overall health and implement changes to improve security posture.
• Manage and allocate network installation and engineering tasks; configure and maintain communications systems and LAN/WAN equipment.
• Create ‘build-to’ and ‘as-built’ documentation and test plans for IT installs.
• Engage in system planning beyond the network for applications and systems using the network.
