Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. Information System Security Engineer to join the Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area. You will support security architecture, RMF, and SVT across development, test, and production environments.

Qualifications

• MS degree with 15–20 years of experience in security engineering.
• Strong understanding of security practices and vulnerability testing with customer tools.
• Experience applying RMF to systems and networks.
• Experience formulating IT security policy and standards.
• Familiarity with security tools such as Nessus, NMAP and Wireshark.
• Experience with secure configurations of desktop and server OS.

Responsibilities

• Validate and verify system security requirements and designs for large-scale systems.
• Identify and implement information security architectures for enterprise solutions.
• Develop technical solutions and standards based on current security architecture.
• Assess and mitigate security threats and risks across the program life cycle.
• Lead security planning, risk analysis, and certification activities.
• Collaborate with internal experts on day-to-day security issues.
• Communicate security issues with Program Managers and customer points of contact.
• Participate in Program Increment Planning and agile activities.
• Work with System Engineering, Test, and Integration teams to ensure security compliance.
• Evaluate security implementations against policies and suggest enhancements.
• Evaluate impact of new development on security posture.
