Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Mid/Sr System Administrator to support a large, complex network in the Intel Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area. The role focuses on administering Windows Server environments, AD, virtualization, and secure configurations across air-gapped networks to ensure reliability and performance.

The ideal candidate will hold TS/SCI with Polygraph and bring experience with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Nessus, VMware, and related security tools, paired with strong troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
• Experience as a systems administrator providing direct support to end users and technical staff.
• Proficiency with Windows Server 2019 and Active Directory.
• Experience with software/hardware deployment, patches, OS, and backup/restore functions.
• Familiarity with SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, Nessus.
• Knowledge of Red Hat and VMware.
• Strong understanding of information security principles and practices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Install applications, administer systems and processes, and resolve issues timely.
• Optimize server and desktop configurations for continuous operation.
• Perform security management and application performance optimization.
• Maintain documentation of complex server/network environments for incident resolution.
• Communicate outages and upgrades with users and management.
• Collaborate with the team to implement system administration tasks.
