Job summary
General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Sr. Network Engineer with Top Secret/SCI clearance to support our intelligence customer activities in Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO.
The role focuses on data center networking, application delivery, and security operations, with tier III incident management and hands-on deployment responsibilities. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of related experience, SME-level routing knowledge, and relevant certifications (CCNP/F5-CTS/JNCIP; CCIE/JNCIE
Qualifications
- 10+ years of related experience in data center networking.
- SME level routing with OSPF and BGP.
- Certifications at least CCNP, F5-CTS or JNCIP; CCIE/JNCIE preferred.
- Experience with MS Visio for network diagrams and architectures.
- US Citizenship is required and TS/SCI clearance or CI Poly possible.
Responsibilities
- Support the customer’s Data Center network, application delivery, and security environments.
- Provide tier III SME level incident management support and deploy IT solutions.
- Coordinate with project staff for development and deployment within technical area.
- Collaborate with system engineers to meet technical goals and timelines.
- Evaluate new network technologies and integrate them into the existing network.
- Develop methods for analysis, testing, and support of LAN/WAN networks.
- Prepare technical proposals for engineering review boards.
