Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Network Engineer 4 to join the Security and Electronic Systems unit, supporting the U.S. Air Force Education and Training Center and other clients.

You will design, implement, and maintain network services, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable IT infrastructure across federal, local, and commercial environments. The role emphasizes collaboration with field engineers, project managers, and senior engineers to deliver robust network solutions, with responsibilities

Qualifications

• Understanding of ITIL concepts and security implications for network solutions.
• Knowledge of network concepts, technologies, tools, and the ability to design an organization’s network infrastructure and services.
• Familiarity with system development methodology, project management, and analytical problem solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports and measurement results presented in actionable form to senior personnel.
• Design, install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
• Develop network designs for each SLA classification and produce design documents.
• Prepare specifications, QA/QC, and conduct technical reviews of designs.
• Author test plans, supervise testing activities, and prepare commissioning procedures and reports.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex network problems; support 24/7 on‑call schedule.
