Taurean in Alexandria, VA is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise networks supporting large user populations. The role ensures secure WAN/LAN, VPN, and hybrid cloud network operations.
You will architect, configure, and manage LAN/WAN networks, manage VPN services, and integrate on-premises infrastructure with hybrid clouds while supporting VoIP/video and performing capacity planning and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, engineering, telecommunications, or related field.
- 10+ years IT experience.
- 7+ years enterprise network design/implementation.
- 5+ years WAN/LAN support for 1,000+ users across multiple sites.
- 5+ years VPN provisioning and management.
- 3+ years hybrid cloud network integration.
- 3+ years network services and topology design.
- Certifications: IAT Level II, CCIE/JNCIE, Routing & Switching.
- Active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Architect, configure, and manage LAN/WAN networks.
- Manage VPN services, site-to-site connectivity, and remote user access.
- Integrate on-premises infrastructure with hybrid cloud networks.
- Support VoIP/VVOIP and video conferencing.
- Conduct capacity planning, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting.
