Job summary

Capital Technology Group is seeking a Senior Network Architect SME to design, engineer, and implement secure, cloud-enabled network and hybrid infrastructure for a large federal modernization program in Suitland, MD. The role is hands-on and requires the ability to operate across cloud and on-prem environments.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in IT with cloud/network experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years of IT experience with hands-on cloud, infrastructure, or network engineering.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure.
• U.S. Citizenship Required and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, implement, and support secure cloud, network, and hybrid infrastructure for mission systems.
• Develop secure connectivity solutions spanning cloud and on-premises environments.
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure infrastructure designs and architectures.
• Produce architecture diagrams, routing designs, interfaces, capacity, availability, and monitoring requirements.
• Provide hands-on engineering across the lifecycle from design to operation and support.
