Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks a Senior Network Engineer to support the DLA IOEE/IOSEE program in Springfield, VA. This hybrid role requires weekly office presence and focuses on network design, implementation, and technology refreshes to ensure proper connectivity between DLA WAN, NOC, and DISA NOCs.

The role demands 5+ years in network engineering, a Bachelor’s degree, and active Secret clearance with Tier 5.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of related experience in network engineering.
• Active Secret security clearance with favorable Tier 5 investigation.
• IAT Level III, CCNP-E, and CCSA certifications required.
• Experience in unclassified and classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement LAN/WAN networking solutions and technology refreshes.
• Develop TAPs and assess hardware/software for connectivity between DLA WAN, NOC, and DISN.
• Prepare After Action Reports with results and recommendations.
• Create network maps, device configurations, and maintenance procedures.
