Job summary

MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to oversee installation, testing, and support of complex network infrastructure including MPLS WAN, IPsec VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.

Responsibilities span design, deployment, and operational support across a large enterprise. The role requires strong knowledge of networking protocols, security practices, and collaboration with engineering, product development, and marketing teams.

Qualifications

• BS/BA and 8+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 4 years of SME in respective areas.
• Excellent working knowledge of networking technologies and protocols.
• Experience with network design, development, and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Installs and supports MPLS WAN and IPsec VPNs.
• Manages network architecture design and DNS/DHCP services.
• Uses diagnostic tools to monitor and troubleshoot network and security systems.
• Documents test failures and coordinates with vendors to correct defects.
• Participates in disaster recovery testing and implementation.
