Job summary

NuAxis Innovations is seeking a Network Engineer IV to provide advanced engineering and operational support for enterprise WAN/LAN, firewalls, and secure connectivity across multiple locations, including federal IT environments.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years of hands-on experience with NGFW, VPNs, and Cisco-based networks. You will design, implement, and support secure network architectures and collaborate with a team of engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional network engineering experience.
• Hands-on with NGFW, IDS/IPS, content filtering, RADIUS/TACACS, 802.1X, VPNs.
• Experience designing and supporting Cisco-based networking environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced network engineering support for WAN, LAN, and secure connectivity across enterprise locations.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Design, implement, and support enterprise routing, VLANs, QoS, and security controls.
• Support VPNs, MPLS, and remote access solutions; monitor performance and perform troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with engineers for deployments and maintain documentation.
