Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable network services across global data centers and cloud platforms. You will own reliability, performance, and automation while mentoring engineers and maintaining an inclusive culture.

The role requires deep expertise in BGP/OSPF, JunOS, and F5 BIG-IP deployments, along with hands-on cloud networking experience and strong incident leadership. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of network engineering in large-scale, multi-region environments.
• Deep hands-on with BGP/OSPF and route policy.
• Proficiency with JunOS and Juniper devices; other OSes are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of F5 BIG-IP architecture, SSL/TLS, and security deployments.
• Experience with hybrid/cloud networking in AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Proficient in Python, Ansible/AWX, Git, and CI/CD.
• Strong incident leadership and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate network solutions across data centers, cloud platforms, and IP backbone.
• Optimize global backbone routing and Layer 3 architectures with BGP/OSPF and traffic engineering.
• Implement secure segmentation, boundary controls, and Meet security/compliance requirements.
• Deliver hybrid and cloud-native connectivity using interconnects, VPNs, and cloud routing services.
• Develop and maintain network automation using Python, Ansible/AWX, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Own network availability, monitoring, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
• Lead incidents with escalation and post-incident learning; ensure tested rollback plans.
