Job summary
SpaceX is seeking a Senior IT Network Engineer to design, implement, and troubleshoot large-scale wired and wireless networks across campus and data centers. You will deploy and support NAC (802.1X), develop automation tools, and maintain documentation and monitoring to ensure reliable network services.
Requirements include a STEM Bachelor's with 7+ years of experience or 10+ years without a degree, expertise in BGP, data center switching (Cisco/Juniper/Arista), Cisco WLC, and strong scripting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM and 7+ years of professional network engineering experience; OR 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation and troubleshooting of large-scale wired and wireless networks.
- Configure, install, and support campus and data center networks.
- Troubleshoot wired/wireless networking issues.
- Support NAC deployment using 802.1X.
- Develop and enforce network policies and standards.
- Plan and prepare project roadmaps.
- Develop network automation tools to support the enterprise network.
- Monitor network health with in-house and third-party tools.
- Create and maintain network documentation.
