Job summary

SpaceX in Memphis, TN is seeking a Senior IT Network Engineer to lead design, deployment and troubleshooting of enterprise networks, wired and wireless, campus and data center, with an emphasis on reliability and scalable standards.

You will implement NAC using 802.1X, develop automation tools, maintain documentation, and monitor network health across diverse environments. A BS in a STEM field and 7+ years of experience, or 10+ years without a degree, are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or STEM field with 7+ years of professional network experience; or 10+ years in lieu of a degree.
Experience designing, building, and troubleshooting large-scale wired and wireless networks.
Proficiency with Linux/Windows system administration and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, deployment, and troubleshooting of large-scale wired and wireless networks.
Configure, install, and support campus and data center networks.
Troubleshoot wired/wireless networking issues.
Support the deployment of network access control (NAC) using 802.1X.
Develop and enforce network policies and standards.
Plan and prepare project roadmaps.
Develop network automation tools to support the enterprise network.
Monitor network health using in-house and third-party tools.
Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation.
