Job summary

World Wide Technology seeks a Network Engineer for its Government Services team. The role focuses on engineering and design, supporting Tier 1–2 escalations within a global network environment for federal civilian, DoD and IC markets.

The position requires a Secret security clearance, 6+ years in network engineering, and a related Associate degree. Scott AFB / Fort Meade preferred; base pay ranges from $150,000 to $190,000 annually with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Secret clearance required.
• 6+ years of network engineering experience.
• Associate’s degree in IT or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate new network implementations with partners, clients and stakeholders.
• Design multi-vendor routing and switching networks; strong expertise in BGP/OSPF/MPLS and related protocols.
• Troubleshoot large enterprise networks and support Tier 1-2 escalations.
• Provide guidance on network architecture and best practices; document architecture designs.
