Job summary

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer/Architect to support the ITMN Tactical Network for SOCPAC. This role demands deep Cisco expertise in enterprise and DoD contexts, with hands-on engineering across routing, switching, security, and SD-WAN.

You will lead implementation and optimization of an advanced network, ensuring security and mission alignment while working in a highly classified environment. Onsite in Hawaii with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• CCIE certification in Enterprise Infrastructure, Routing & Switching, Security, or Service Provider.
• 8+ years of hands-on Cisco network engineering experience in DoD or government networks.
• IAT Level II certification or higher.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Cisco-based network infrastructure for ITMN mission requirements.
• Provide expert-level engineering across routing, switching, security, and WAN edge technologies.
• Implement and tune routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IS-IS) and MPLS-based architectures.
• Develop route maps, prefix lists, PBR configurations, and redistribution strategies.
• Support SD-WAN deployments and lifecycle maintenance.
• Manage Cisco IOS/XE/XR, Nexus, ASA/FTD, and FMC environments; implement VPN strategies.
• Collaborate with SOCPAC stakeholders and partners to ensure reliability and mission alignment.
