Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Arlington, VA to serve as the SME in network design, testing, and deployment. You will engineer and implement enterprise network infrastructure and maintain WAN/LAN, DNS, wireless, and cloud environments.

The role requires active TS/SCI eligibility, 10+ years in network engineering, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS, or information systems. Strong communication skills are essential to support government stakeholders.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
10+ years of experience in network engineering and design.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or information systems; or 15 years total experience in IT architecture/engineering.
Experience installing, configuring, and managing software defined networking, IAM, mobility, imaging, collaboration, cloud hosting, and communication services.
Experience engineering secure and reliable connections to cloud services (CSPs, private, hybrid).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Serve as the SME in network engineering design, testing, and deployment.
Engineer, design, test, and implement an enterprise network infrastructure.
Maintain design and integrity of WAN/LAN, DNS, Wireless, and Cloud environments.
Provide expert technical assistance to team members and Government on high-level requests and solutions.
