Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to provide advanced technical support for the bank's data and voice network infrastructure. The role involves installing, maintaining, and configuring network hardware and software, as well as troubleshooting issues reported by users and system alerts.

You will manage IP address management, DNS, and connectivity with banks’ communication applications, while contributing to capacity planning, upgrades, and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years networking experience or 8+ years with HS diploma
• CCNP, VOIP or CTP- IO certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Technical Support - provides advanced technical support for data or voice network systems and maintains devices and servers
• Analysis - monitors network performance and analyzes events to resolve issues
• Network Enhancement - improves capacity, operations, and infrastructure; supports automation
• Technical Proficiency - maintains knowledge of network software and hardware; communicates clearly to stakeholders
