Job summary

The First National Bank in Sioux Falls is seeking a Network Administrator to manage and secure the bank's enterprise network across branches, ops centers, ATMs, and cloud environments. You will handle routing, switching, VPNs, and monitoring while coordinating with vendors and ensuring regulatory adherence.

This on-site role requires hands-on support for network hardware, cabling, and documentation, with a focus on resilience, uptime, and operational excellence within our FIRST Values-driven

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelors degree in IT or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2+ years in network admin, IT support, or infra operations preferred.
• Enterprise network experience in multi-site environments preferred.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, VPNs, and basic monitoring tools.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and basic routing/switching concepts.
• Vendor coordination and telecom support experience preferred.
• Certs such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA or equivalent preferred.
• Experience supporting VoIP or Zoom Phone is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for network infrastructure per standards and security controls.
• Maintain network documentation, inventories, and operational records.
• Troubleshoot and replace network equipment and cabling to restore service.
• Monitor network performance, alerts, and logs for uptime and reliability.
• Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and MSPs for service requests and escalations.
• Support audit, compliance, risk management, and reporting activities.
