Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Network Engineer 5 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. You will design, install, operate and maintain electronic security and network systems for federal, local, and commercial clients, including intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, and IT systems.

The position supports the US Air Force Education and Training Center and requires active SECRET clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance required
• U.S. Citizenship required for access to classified information
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, IT or related discipline
• 10+ years of progressive experience

Responsibilities

• Survey reports measurement results to senior personnel
• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices
• Develop network designs for each SLA classification
• Prepare test plans and test reports; lead testing activities
• Troubleshoot complex network problems and provide operational improvements
• Support a 24/7 on-call schedule
• Prepare cost estimates and supporting documents for projects
