Job summary

The role supports the US Air Force Education and Training Center, delivering secure, integrated network solutions. Responsibilities span survey, design, installation, maintenance, and 24/7 on-call support, with emphasis on security, reliability, and performance across federal, local and commercial customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or a related discipline and 10+ years of progressive experience.
• Active SECRET Clearance required for access to classified information.
• Understanding of ITIL concepts and security implications for network solutions.
• Knowledge of network concepts, technologies, tools and the ability to design an organization's network infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities

• Survey reports and measurements to senior staff.
• Install, configure, and maintain network services, equipment, and devices.
• Develop network designs for SLA classifications and prepare design documents.
• Prepare test plans and perform QA/QC and testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network problems; support 24/7 on-call schedule.
• Perform hardware/software upgrades and maintenance on existing systems.
