Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is seeking a Network Engineer III to lead and shape network infrastructure projects. You will oversee design, implementation, and security across cloud and on-prem environments, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, project leadership, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to influence security posture and technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Experience may substitute degree; 8+ years without degree.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience designing & managing network implementation projects.
• Experience with IDM and Active Directory user/assets management.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Azure and AWS deployments.
• Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure/virtualization.
• Familiarity with CMMC framework and control implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, expand, and maintain secure network architectures.
• Drive adoption of new technologies and best practices within the team.
• Oversee development and enforcement of network security policies.
