Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation is hiring a Network Engineer III to oversee secure network architectures and cloud configurations in a fast-paced, collaborative team. The role involves leading projects, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in network engineering, experience with IDM/AD, Windows Server and Linux, and proficiency in Azure/AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field; with no degree, 8+ years may be considered.
• Experience with IDM and Active Directory user and asset management.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in deploying in Cloud Service Providers such as Azure and AWS.
• Experience with virtualization technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, expand, and maintain secure network architectures.
• Drive adoption of new technologies and best practices within the engineering team.
• Oversee the development and enforcement of network security policies and procedures.
• Azure and AWS configuration and maintenance.
• Windows Server and Linux operating system configuration and maintenance.
