Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation seeks a Network Engineer III to oversee network infrastructure projects and ensure the reliability and security of the corporate network. The role emphasizes leadership and mentoring on multi-project efforts within MST, supporting DoD, DHS, and commercial customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience designing & managing network implementation projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, expand, and maintain secure network architectures.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the engineering team.
• Oversee the development and enforcement of network security policies and procedures.
• Azure and AWS configuration and maintenance.
• Windows Server and Linux operating system configuration and maintenance.
