Job summary

Sierra Nevada Company, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer III to oversee secure network architectures and lead projects across our DoD-focused MST division. You will mentor junior engineers, drive new technologies, and ensure reliable, secure connectivity across Azure, AWS, Windows, and Linux environments.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of related experience, with proficiency in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IDM/AD, and cloud configurations. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Experience substituting education with related experience up to 8 years.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience designing and managing network implementation projects in dynamic environments.
• Experience with IDM and Active Directory user/asset management.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency with IPS/network security policies and cloud (Azure, AWS).
• Experience with virtualization and HCI technologies.
• Familiarity with CMMC framework and related controls.
• Experience with networking diagnostic/monitoring tools.
• Ability to work independently and in fast-paced teams.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
