Job summary

Wealthfront is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Networking to join the Infrastructure team, shaping future network architecture across data centers, offices, and cloud. You will implement automation and IaC practices, and design scalable network solutions that align with our infrastructure strategy.

The role involves managing hardware and network devices, building telemetry, and running automated change pipelines.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Engineering or CS or equivalent.
• Experience with Linux systems and data-centre automation.
• Proficiency with BGP, MLAG, VLANs, DNS.
• Experience automating production data centers including hardware provisioning.
• On-call rotation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage networking and server hardware in data centers and cloud.
• Design and build network telemetry, monitoring and observability.
• Build automated change management for network configs and hardware.
• Troubleshoot and fix on-call operational issues.
• Contribute to hybrid cloud architecture decisions.
• Coordinate with vendors and onsite teams in Bay Area and NJ.
