Job summary
By Light Professional IT Services LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to lead planning, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade networks for DoD-related programs. You will serve as a SME for policy, architecture, and planning, shaping engineering solutions through capability analysis and strategic roadmaps.
Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in network engineering, DoD experience, and a current TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant network engineering experience.
- DoD 8140.03 IAT II certification required.
- Experience designing and managing enterprise network systems.
- Experience with cyber range or test bed operations.
- Proficient with routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, VLANs.
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead network planning, development, implementation, and troubleshooting efforts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for network policy, architecture, and planning.
- Develop and recommend network engineering solutions based on capability analysis.
- Support strategic roadmap development and future technology planning.
- Align network initiatives with program goals and mission requirements.
