Job summary

SHR is seeking a Senior Network Engineer in Paris, VA to lead design and implementation of complex network architectures, ensuring reliability, security, and efficiency. You will drive strategic initiatives, mentor engineers, and manage critical upgrades across multi-cloud environments.

You will apply advanced expertise in SD-WAN, firewall strategies, and network security while coordinating with IT teams to align with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems Management, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Advanced certifications such as GCP, Azure, AWS Cloud certifications; CISSP; advanced Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE).

Responsibilities

• Strategic Network Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of network architectures.
• Advanced Documentation and Network Management: Develop and maintain detailed network documentation and diagrams.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Lead IT department initiatives and guide junior engineers.
• Expert Troubleshooting and Operational Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex network issues.
• Capacity Planning and Security Oversight: Direct system capacity planning and conduct security audits.
• IP Strategy and Management: Oversee IP allocation and management.
• Innovation and Technology Leadership: Champion next-generation networking projects and partnerships.
