Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Network & Security Solutions Architect to act as a trusted advisor on Networking and Network Security, including routing, switching, firewall, SD-WAN, and cloud security in a hybrid/on-prem environment.

You will design, implement, and lead technical projects with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong cloud architecture knowledge and experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, and other networking technologies; travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, technical degree, or related work experience.
• 5–7 years of technical experience with increasing responsibility.
• 3–5 years’ experience consulting, designing, implementing, and integrating Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, and other Networking technologies (e.g., Cloud WAN / SDWAN / SASE).
• Combined experience as Network Consultant, Operations, and Administration.
• Proficiency with the design, implementation, and configuration of Cisco, Palo Alto, and Cloud networking & security solutions (e.g., Cloud WAN, SDWAN, SASE).
• Available to travel to client sites upon reasonable request.
• Preferred certifications: Cisco – CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Cloud Networking Certifications (AWS / Azure), Palo Alto – PCNSE.

Responsibilities

• Design, architecture analysis, deployment, troubleshooting, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and network engineering.
• Lead customer projects / workshops and be accountable for project outcomes.
• Collect, produce, and update deployment and design documentation.
• Develop and improve Network & Security Service offerings.
• Act as trusted advisor for sales teams and assist with opportunity discovery and scoping.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and executive stakeholders.
