Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Senior Network Administrator for the GMOS contract supporting the Department of State. You will lead a technical team and manage NGFW deployments, firewall troubleshooting, and secure connectivity with federal agencies.

The role emphasizes network design, disaster recovery, and hybrid / data center operations. Responsibilities include coordinating bandwidth upgrades, implementing CA API Gateway, and supporting cloud/network infrastructure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years in network administration, engineering, or IT operations.
Active Secret Clearance.
Experience with next-gen firewalls (Palo Alto, F5 BIG-IP, API Gateway) and advanced network security.
Strong knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking, fiber cabling, and disaster recovery configurations.

Responsibilities

Implement and manage web application firewalls and NGFWs (Palo Alto, F5 BIG-IP ASM, CA API Gateway).
Troubleshoot complex firewall issues and liaise with government DT teams and advisory board.
Install, configure, and maintain internal wiring, fiber, and Layer 2/3 devices across enterprise infra.
Coordinate with DT for bandwidth upgrades and AI-enabled network optimization.
Support cloud/network infrastructure and participate in design reviews for facilities.
