Job summary

RTX is seeking a Network Administrator, Senior Analyst (P2) in Woburn, MA. This onsite position requires an active U.S. Secret clearance and will support classified infrastructure. You will install, monitor, and optimize voice and data networks, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with vendors to ensure uptime across locations.

The role emphasizes hands-on networking, documentation, and ongoing capability improvements in a high-security environment, with relocation possible per policy.

Qualifications

• Requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in networking.
• Experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Active and transferable U.S. government secret clearance required prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth operation of voice and data networks and plan installation/reconfiguration of network hardware and software.
• Develop technical expertise across network hardware/software interconnection and interfacing (switches, routers, firewalls, authentication servers).
• Maintain network management software platforms and document configurations and diagrams.
• Coordinate with management to optimize cost savings while ensuring redundancy and uptime.
• Document operational instructions and diagrams; create missing documentation as needed.
• Provide monitoring and analysis for short- and long-range planning of in-house systems.
• Coordinate with vendors for third-party maintenance and support.
