Job summary

Raytheon in Andover, MA is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to support Classified Infrastructure Services. The role focuses on LAN/WAN operations, network troubleshooting, documentation, and security controls in a high-security environment.

The successful candidate will hold an active Secret clearance, have experience with Cisco hardware, SNMP tools, RADIUS/802.1x, encryption devices, and will work onsite at our Andover facility. Occasional domestic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco hardware on Local Area Networks (LAN) within classified environments
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems reported by users and system administrators
• Follow network design guides and processes/practices
• Review Technical Security Controls with minimal supervision
• Monitor network for health and performance
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as network diagrams
• May require occasional domestic travel
