Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to work on Onsite teams in Tewksbury, MA. You will support LAN/WAN environments in classified programs, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure health and performance of networks under close collaboration with system administrators and cybersecurity personnel.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent, 2+ years of relevant experience, Cisco LAN expertise, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco hardware on Local Area Networks (LAN) within classified environments.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and problems reported by users and system administrators
Follow network design guides and processes/practices
Review Technical Security Controls with minimal supervision
Monitor network for health and performance
Create and maintain technical documentation such as network diagrams
May require occasional domestic travel
