Job summary

RTX in Marlborough, MA is seeking a Senior Principal Network Engineer (P4) for onsite support of classified network infrastructure. The role focuses on sustaining voice and data networks, performing hardware/software install and reconfigurations, and documenting network details for project growth.

Ideal candidates will have advanced Cisco gear experience, strong LAN/WAN knowledge, and the ability to mentor teams. Security clearance is required; relocation is eligible per policy.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience.
• Knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret DOD security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain smooth operation of voice and data networks and plan installation/reconfiguration of network hardware/software.
• Develop expertise in network interconnection and interfacing across hardware and software.
• Produce and improve technical documentation to support security requirements and operations.
