Qualifications

Job description

Our senior Functional Consultant performs the roles of the Solution Architect and/or Solution Success Manager (SSM), primarily operating as the main resource to onboard and lead ongoing, subscription-based services for customers.

Specifically, the FC is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by helping them maximize their investment in NetSuite products through identifying and closing smaller (non-project) work-packets. They collaborate with other resources to uncover new ways to leverage NetSuite that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Customer Advocate: Act as the primary point of contact for customer requests, advocate for customer needs, communicate actions and next steps, and coordinate with service teams to achieve favorable outcomes.
  2. Engagement Management: Lead new customer onboarding, develop and implement a roadmap aligned with business goals, manage priorities, provide status updates, maintain case hygiene, manage time entries, maximize customer entitlements, identify and mitigate risks, and coordinate with other teams.
  3. Building Resilient Solutions: Hands-on remediation of customer NetSuite enhancements, including configuration of fields, forms, roles, permissions, searches, reporting, SuiteFlow, and testing solutions and integrations.
  4. Account Escalations: Support or respond to alerts, red flags, or account health issues, including critical or overdue cases.
  5. Renewals: Ensure customer renewal at the end of the contract, working with sales to showcase value.
  6. Compliance: Follow subscription service methodologies and processes as per company standards.
  7. Promotions: Collaborate with sales to promote license and service expansions and identify SOW-based projects to increase customer lifetime value.

Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry, consulting, or technical experience.
  • Accounting background is desirable.
Critical Skills
  • Strong project management, business analysis, and coordination skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to recognize new business opportunities.
  • Experience with project tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with NetSuite.
  • Knowledge of financials, ARM, Multibook, FAM, RevRec (desired).
  • Experience with Zone Billing (desired).
  • Customer-facing functional consulting experience (5+ years).
  • NetSuite ERP Consultant certification.
  • Vertical domain expertise in Software and Services (a plus).
  • This role is remote, based in India.
