Job summary

SystemsAccountants Inc. is seeking a Controller to support a global inventory and COGS function. This role focuses on hands-on Oracle NetSuite standard costing in a multi-entity environment and will participate in the first close cycles post-implementation.

The ideal candidate will lead costing processes, analyze variances, manage landed costs, and collaborate with purchasing, supply chain, and logistics to ensure accurate product costing and efficient month-end close.

Qualifications

• Hands-on NetSuite standard costing experience in multi-entity environments.
• Strong costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis skills.
• Experience with landed cost and intercompany cost allocations.
• 5+ years of accounting work in product-based businesses.

Responsibilities

• Manage NetSuite standard costing across entities and product lines.
• Analyze and explain standard cost variances and revaluations.
• Own landed cost accounting and reporting of inventory costs.
• Collaborate with purchasing, supply chain, and logistics teams.
• Reconcile inventory quantities and valuations across locations.
• Investigate discrepancies, stock movements and write-offs.
• Prepare inventory reserve analyses and intercompany reconciliations.
• Lead month-end close for inventory and COGS in NetSuite.
• Develop scalable close processes and audit-ready docs.
