Brivo, a global leader in cloud-based access control and video surveillance, is seeking a Senior Accountant in the Controllership Group in Bethesda to own monthly cost accounting close, inventory roll-forward tied to NetSuite GL, and COGS/margin analysis.

The role requires experience with NetSuite ERP, API integrations with Salesforce and other systems, advanced Excel, and a collaborative approach to support mergers and system integrations, asset accounting, and strong internal controls.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, ERP systems analysis, or a related analytical role.
• Strong understanding of inventory valuation, COGS, and standard costing concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Own monthly cost accounting close activities, including the inventory roll-forward, tie-out to the NetSuite general ledger, and COGS and margin analysis.
• Support hardware vs. SaaS margin visibility reporting for executive leadership.
• Prepare E&O reserve and warranty accrual calculations and related balance sheet reconciliations.
• Help oversee internal and external inventory counts at warehouse locations as needed, supporting count reconciliations and follow-up on variances.
• Help oversee system integrations between NetSuite and other tools (e.g., Salesforce, Ramp, 3PL/warehouse, and billing systems), assessing their impact on the financial statements and escalating data integrity issues.
• Support the integration of legacy systems and processes from the recent merger, including chart of accounts harmonization and cross-system reconciliations.
• Resolve 3-way match exceptions for hardware invoices and perform landed cost analysis.
• Support fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and roll-forward schedules.
• Maintain SOX segregation of duties between physical goods movement and financial valuation.
• Design and test process improvements, including new reporting tools and dashboards, to increase efficiency and strengthen SOX-compliant internal controls.
