Job summary

Mann Lake Ltd. in Hackensack, MN seeks a hands‑on Controller to run the accounting function, modernize processes, and sharpen cost visibility across products and channels. You will manage working capital and present to leadership, closing books quickly and partnering with operations.

The role requires 10+ years in accounting (4+ in leadership), manufacturing/distribution experience, and strong Excel/NetSuite skills. On‑site role with annual salary range shown.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience including 4+ years in a Controller role.
• Manufacturing/distribution experience with standard costing and multi‑location inventory.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and monthly close expertise.
• Experience with external audits and lender covenant reporting.
• Leadership experience building a team of 5+.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close with a 7‑business‑day target.
• Maintain GL, COA, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Oversee AP/AR, payroll through ADP, and fixed assets.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and revenue recognition including inventory and leases.
• Lead financial reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis for leadership.
• Manage cost accounting, variance analysis, and cycle counts across warehouses.
• Drive NetSuite enhancements and payroll integration with HR.
• Hire and lead the accounting team and partner with operations.
