Job summary

Matco Tools, a subsidiary of Vontier Corporation, seeks an experienced software professional to develop and maintain web-based applications using Angular/React and .NET. You will lead a development team, mentor peers, and coordinate with client product owners to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.

The role requires 8+ years in web development, strong C#, .NET Core, React, MVC, WebAPI, and SQL Server, plus Azure DevOps for CI/CD. Hybrid work and a competitive base salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years of web application development experience.
• Experience with .NET Core, C#, React, MVC, Javascript, WebAPI, SQL Server or similar.
• Experience in code reviews, architectural reviews, and functional reviews.
• Experience estimating major enhancements and projects.
• Experience deploying .NET builds, IIS.
• Experience with microservices and Azure cloud services.
• Expertise in CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain web-based applications using Angular/React and .NET.
• Coordinate with client product owners and leadership to understand requirements.
• Create technical solutions and present to client leadership.
• Lead and coordinate software development activities.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team.
• Conduct code reviews and low-level design reviews.
• Code enhancements and feature development.
• Collaborate with developers and QA to ensure quality.
• Meet delivery dates on projects and tasks.
• Scope project requirements including timetable, resources, and risk.
• Lead cross-functional project implementations as needed.
• Provide mentoring to other developers and external consultants.
