Job summary

Matco Tools, a subsidiary of Vontier Corporation, is seeking an experienced software development lead to own and advance web applications built on .NET Core with Angular/React front ends. You will mentor teams, drive architecture reviews, and ensure timely delivery on complex projects.

Expect to collaborate with client product owners, guide technical solutions, and coordinate cross-functional teams. Hybrid work options may apply in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in web application development.
• Experience with .NET Core, C#, React, MVC, JavaScript, WebAPI, SQL Server or similar databases.
• Experience in code reviews, architectural reviews, and functional reviews.
• Experience in CI/CD using Azure DevOps and deploying .NET builds to IIS.
• Experience with microservices and Azure cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain web-based applications using Angular/React and .NET frameworks.
• Coordinate with client product owners and technical leadership to understand requirements.
• Create technical solutions and present them to client leadership.
• Lead and coordinate software development activities and provide technical leadership.
• Conduct code reviews and low-level design reviews.
• Code, test, and deploy enhancements and features.
• Collaborate with QA to deliver high-quality products.
• Meet delivery dates and manage project scope, resources, and risks.
• Mentor other developers and collaborate with external consultants.
