Job summary

Matco Tools, a subsidiary of Vontier, is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications using .NET Core, C#, React, and SQL Server.

You will lead development activities, perform design reviews, mentor teammates, and collaborate with product owners to deliver high-quality solutions. This is a hybrid role with remote options and a strong focus on delivering value to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in web application development.
• Experience with .NET Core, C#, React, MVC, Javascript, WebAPI, SQL Server.
• Experience in code reviews, architectural reviews, and functional reviews.
• Experience in deploying .NET builds, IIS.
• Experience in working with microservices and Azure cloud-related services.
• Expertise in CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.
• Strong relationship-building skills and ability to explain protocol and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain web apps (Angular/React/.NET).
• Coordinate with client product owners and leadership to understand requirements.
• Create technical solutions and present them to leadership.
• Lead and coordinate software development activities.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team.
• Code reviews and low-level design reviews with developers.
• Coding of enhancements and features.
• Work with developers and QA to build quality products.
• Meet delivery dates on assigned projects and tasks.
• Independently scope project requirements including timetable, resources, risk.
• Lead project implementation with cross-functional teams.
• Provide direction and mentoring to other developers/consultants.
