Job summary

Matco Tools, a subsidiary of Vontier Corporation, is seeking an experienced software engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using .NET Core, C#, React, and Angular. You will collaborate with product owners and leadership to translate requirements into robust solutions and lead a development team.

Candidates should have 8+ years in web app development, strong CI/CD and Azure experience, and proven ability to manage timelines and risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 8+ years in web application development.
• Experience with .NET Core, C#, React, MVC, Javascript, WebAPI, SQL Server.
• Experience in code reviews, architectural reviews, and functional reviews.
• Proven ability to estimate major enhancements and projects.
• Experience with CI/CD and deploying .NET builds, IIS.
• Experience with microservices and Azure cloud services.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain web-based applications.
• Coordinate with client product owners and leadership to understand requirements.
• Create technical solutions and present to client leadership.
• Lead and coordinate software development activities.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team.
• Code reviews and low-level design reviews with developers.
• Tight collaboration with QA to build quality products.
• Meet delivery dates on projects and tasks.
• Scope project requirements including timetable, resources, and risk.
• Lead project implementation with cross-functional teams.
• Provide direction and mentoring to other developers.
