Job summary

Matco Tools, a subsidiary of Vontier Corporation, seeks an accomplished software engineer to develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications using .NET Core, C#, Angular/React. You will lead development activities, coordinate with product owners, perform code and architectural reviews, and mentor team members to deliver high-quality software on time.

Hybrid work with two remote days, base salary of $112,300–$130,000 per year, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, 401(k)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 8 years in web app development.
• Experience with .NET Core, C#, React, MVC, Javascript, WebAPI, SQL Server or similar database.
• Experience in code reviews, architectural & functional reviews.
• Experience estimating major enhancements & projects.
• Experience deploying .NET builds, IIS.
• Experience with microservices & Azure cloud services.
• CI/CD expertise using Azure DevOps.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Evidence of prioritizing tasks and delivering on time.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain web-based applications based on Angular/React and .NET frameworks.
• Coordinate with client product owners and technical leadership to understand requirements.
• Create technical solutions and present them to client leadership.
• Lead and coordinate software development activities.
• Provide technical leadership to the development team.
• Code reviews and low-level design reviews with developers.
• Coding of enhancements and features.
• Work with developers and QA to build quality products.
• Meet delivery dates on assigned projects and tasks.
• Scope project requirements including timetable, resources, and risk mitigation.
• Lead project implementation with cross-functional teams.
• Provide direction and mentoring to other developers and/or outside consultants.
