Job summary

InfoPeople Corp is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our core team working on the eOrder initiative, a healthcare data exchange project linking EHR systems with external providers and internal services. You will own integration services, APIs, and HL7 message handling in a high-volume environment.

You will design, implement, and maintain .NET Core applications, RESTful services, and SQL Server data models, with Azure DevOps CI/CD and security considerations guiding delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert proficiency in C# and the .NET / .NET Core framework.
• 3+ years of experience with HL7 messaging standards (v2).
• Experience developing and deploying services using ASP.NET Core (Web API, Microservices).
• Strong understanding of modern architectural patterns (Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture).
• Proficiency in SQL Server and stored procedures; experience with query optimization.
• Experience with SSIS and reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI).
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus).
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integration engines and middleware for HL7 message processing (ORM/ORU).
• Develop secure RESTful APIs and microservices using ASP.NET Core for order management and status tracking.
• Work with SQL Server and NoSQL databases; optimize queries and store transactional logs.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deploy in Azure DevOps, focusing on scalability and security.
• Troubleshoot message routing, transport protocols (MLLP, HTTPS), and data mapping in the integration layer.
• Collaborate with clinical analysts and testing teams to meet regulatory compliance.
